The Bay Arts Trio Concert

The Bay Arts Trio will present an enchanted performance of Classical Music. The musicians will perform music of Joaquín Turina, Astor Pantaleón Piazzolla, Carlos Gardel, Manuel de Falla, Pablo de Sarasate, Fritz Kreisler and Camille Saint-Saens.


Artists Bios:

Margot Zarzycka, Violinist

Born into a family of professional classical musicians.
She originally comes from Poland where she made her solo violin debut at the age of six. Margot is a winner and finalist of numerous European violin competitions, including the Wieniawski International Young Artist Violin Competition in Lublin, Poland.

She holds a Bachelor of Music Degree in Violin Performance and Music Education from the Music Academy in Poznan, Poland and a Masters of The Arts in Violin Performance and Music Education from the Academy of Music in Gdansk, Poland.

In 1997, Margot was invited to study at Indiana University School of Music where she was awarded the prestigious Emma E. Clause Scholarship in recognition of her meritorious achievements in the study of violin. In the summer of 2000 she obtained her Performer Diploma Degree at Indiana University.

In a year 2000 Margot won a full time violin position with the Sarasota Orchestra in Florida, where she is currently serving as a core violinist.

She has also served as a Concertmaster and Soloist with the Charlotte Symphony in Port Charlotte, Florida where she played a leading role on stage. She has also performed with the Florida Orchestra in Tampa, Florida, the Naples Philharmonic in Naples, Florida, the Orlando Philharmonic in Orlando, Florida and the Florida South West Symphony in Fort Meyers, Florida.

Margot also serves as the assistant Concertmaster and The Principal Violinist of the Strauss Vienna Orchestras of America. She has also served as the Principal violinist of the Midsummer Mozart Festival Orchestra in San Francisco, California.

She is an active soloist and a chamber musician. She also serves as a violinist with the Bay Arts Piano Trio and numerous string chamber ensembles in the United States and Europe. Margot is also a leading violinist for Cirque des Voix in Sarasota, Florida performing annually with Key Chorale and The Circus Arts Conservatory of Sarasota.

Lise Frank, Pianist

Born in Atlanta, Ga. Lise Frank, having recently returned to the area after living many years in Colombia, South America, lives and works in Sarasota. In a professional piano career spanning several decades she has performed extensively as a soloist and collaborative pianist. She holds degrees in Piano Performance from North Carolina School of the Arts, Wisconsin Conservatory of Music and Indiana University, Bloomington. Ms. Frank has been very active as a teacher, having served on the University faculties of Eafit and University of Antioquia in Colombia and in the United States at Saint Petersburg College. She is the author of a piano method for children in Spanish called Kids+Piano. She is currently on faculty of the Sarasota Music Conservatory and has a private piano studio.

Her love for chamber music has led her to form countless musical associations among them two different piano trios with tonight’s string artists. With Ms. Zarzycka “The Bay Arts Trio” and with Mr. Villa “Trio de Camera de Medellin.” Now the three musicians have joined forces in this group.

Diego Villa, Cellist

Has lived in the Tampa Bay area since the year 2000, where he has been active as a chamber musician and teacher. He has a Bachelors Degree (University of North Texas) and a Masters Degree (Baylor University) in cello performance, and studied at the Guildhall School of Music in London. Before moving to Tampa from his native country of Colombia, he was principal cellist of the Orquesta Sifonica de Antioquia and cello teacher at the Unviersidad de Antioquia. He also performed as a soloist with several orchestras in

Colombia and as chamber musician, especially in a piano and cello duet as well as a piano trio with Lise Frank.
